She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Eby; her grandson Ryan Eby; her parents, Abram Bauman and Vera Bauman; her in-laws, Edwin and Ida Eby; her siblings, Glen Bauman and Doris Eby; and her siblings-in-law, Clarence Eby, Orton Eby, Keith Eby, Pearl Eby, Ruth Eby, Delores Eby and Joan Bauman.
She is survived by: her children, Darryl Eby (Gail) of New Hamburg, Karen Buchanan (Larry) of New Hamburg, Lynn Gibson (Ray) of Tavistock and Paul Eby (Michele) of Baden; her grandchildren, Jason Eby, Christina Roesler (late Ryan Eby), Chris Buchanan (Jade), Tanya Rooney (Darren), Terri Lynch (Ross), Nick Gibson (Amanda), Shannon Armstrong (Matt), Brendan Eby (Nicole), Colin Eby (Leah) and Jordan Eby (Kylie); and her sister-in-law Betty Bauman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (291 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K2). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Wilmot Family Resource Centre or Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church would be appreciated and can be done on the funeral home website.
