She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Longthorne and Viola Longthorne (Sutherland); her siblings, Kenneth Longthorne and Linda Hearns; and her siblings-in-law, Gerard Kocher, Betty Reid, Elaine Meyer and Theresa Kocher.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Garry" Kocher; her children, Tammy (Bryon Gerber) and Mathew (Amanda Kocher); her grandchildren, Violet Gerber, Julia, Brett and Lauren Kocher; her siblings, Wayne (Sylvia), Don, Nancy Hall (Bob) and Evelyn Nobbs (Steve); and her siblings-in-law, Deb Longthorne, Shirley Vorstenbosch (Bill), Mary Anne Molyneux, Anne Vorstenbosch (Tony), Cathy Ieritano (Frank), John Meyer, Nick Kocher (Pauline), Tony Kocher (Val), Ted Kocher, Tom Kocher and Bob Kocher (Gwen). She is also survived by her many nieces, and nephews.
