It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monique McTaggart (New Hamburg, Ontario), born in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Monique may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas McTaggart; her parents, Yvon Lafrance and Georgette Lafrance; her brother George Lafrance; her sister-in-law Linda; and her nephew Marty Lafrance.

She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond, Claude (Glenys), Gerald (Karen), Jean (Tez) and Nicole Dube (Dave). She is also survived by nephews, extended family, and friends.
