He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lynn Holst (Braun); his children, Nathan Eli Holst (Nicole), Jonathan Richard Holst (Amanda) and Amanda Lynn Garland (Trevor); his grandchildren, Kevin (Kambel), Ashley (Brayden), Connor, Claire, Ethan, Emma, Joshua, Noah and Launa; his mother Victoria Mae Holst (Zehr); his siblings, Donell Holst (Judy), Brian Holst (Iris), Dennis Holst (Linda), Glenn Holst (Debbie), Rosemary Wenger (David) and Michael Holst (Margaret); his father-in-law Walter George Braun; and his stepfather-in-law Bruce Richard Wiese.
