She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan Green and Sarah Green (Bell); her husband Charles Wakelin; and her siblings, Duncan, Jim, Doug, Anne and Mary.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Wakelin (Debbie) and Sandra Shimko; her grandsons, Daniel (Monique), Christopher (Tanya), Richard (Stephanie) and Peter; and her great grandchildren, Maddy, Connor, Austin, Cooper and Charlie. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
