We bid farewell to Stanley Mayer (New Hamburg, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 20, 2025. Stanley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Mayer and Lucinda Mayer (Lebold); his stepfather Milton Boshart; and his siblings, Ernie (Shirley Mayer), Berl (Bernice Boshart), Floyd Mayer, Gary Boshart and Rita (Lee Horst).
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Mayer (Kennedy); his children, Corinne (Shea Laking) of Oshawa and Chris (Kendra) of New Dundee; his grandchildren, Stan, Justin, Peyton, Easton, Mackenzie and Isabella; his siblings, Bob (Pat Boshart) and Marie (Bruno Manfrina); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Mayer of Kitchener and Effie Boshart of Baden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home (291 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Room Address (291 Huron St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1K2).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the St. Mary's Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
