Susan Wagler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Wagler (New Hamburg, Ontario), who passed away on November 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Penney and Esther Penney (Shelley). She is survived by: her husband Edward Wagler; her daughters, Amanda Wagler (Kyle Dietrich), Meghan Wagler and Stephanie Wagler (Jesse Cressman); her grandchildren, Maren, Harrison, Mayelle, Camille, Ezra and Wilson; her siblings, Louise Gingerich and Mike Penney (Ellen); her pet Stew; and her family Wilmot Mennonite Church. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Wilmot Mennonite Church (2995 Bleams Rd, New Hamburg, ON N3A3J3). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Puddicombe House (145 Peel St, New Hamburg, ON N3A1E7).

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to Groves Memorial Community Hospital, or the WRHN Cancer Centre and can be done on the funeral home website.
