He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Ann Stafford; his children, Jeff Shantz (Barbie Jo), Graham Shantz (Samantha) and Rachel White (Craig); his grandchildren, Cody (Meggy), Mason (Jessica), Bryce (Andrea), Calla, Redden, Cullen, Cohen and Reagan; and his great grandchildren, Kenzie, Adelaide, Hollis, Hadley and Jameson.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Stratford General Hospital Cardiac Unit or Zion United Church, New Hamburg would be appreciated by the family.
