With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Joyce Smith (New Lowell, Ontario), born in Virden, Manitoba, who passed away on April 6, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; her son Tim; her parents, James Newton Leckie and Adeline Maud Sproat; and her sisters, Jean Branson (late Art), Helen Leckie and Margaret McClure (David).
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Johnson (Charlie), Randy Smith (Cathy), Gloria Glockling (Neil), Peggy Smith (Tamie) and Penny Judson; her grandchildren, Gwen Short (Tom), Gerard Lavoie (Deanna), Tom Smith (Kelsie), Rachel Smith, Erik Glockling (Vicki), Jennifer Blimke (Jody), Robynn Frazier (Victor) and Joshua Hatchard (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Avery, Morgan Bond, Jacques, Chloe, Maxim Lavoie, Cooper, Scarlett Smith, Olivia, Dominik Glockling, Emerson Frazier and Marie Hatchard; her siblings, Mary-Jane Salmon (late Jack) and James Leckie (late Betty); her caregivers, Brett, Cassandra, Jodie, Jacob, Jeff, LeeAnn, Tim, Sherry, Kelly, Nicole, Dr. Blackadar and Dr. Halpert; Herb and Jeff. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
