He is survived by: his children, Steven (Erin) and Shantel Ivits; his grandchildren, Ruby and Beckett Ivits; his wife Frances Jane Kidd (Ann); and his siblings, Joanne George (Kevin), Mariette Frechette (Norm), Jeannette Weselake (Rob), Henry Ivits, Mary Mapel (Daniel), Gerry Ivits (Jamilla), Louise Noordegraaf (Rob) and Diane Crittenden (Ron). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
