We announce the death of Erika (Dickie) Mitton of Newbury, Ontario, who passed away on May 29, 2026. Erika will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Erika will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Erika will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Erika’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She is survived by: her children, Jacob and Julia; her siblings, Giselle and Jean-Pierre; her sister-in-law Kim; her friend Garry Dickie; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by her former husband, father of her children.
