It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Mary Pruner (Newcastle, Ontario), who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Pruner; her parents, Wilbert O'Neil and Blanche O'Neil; and her siblings, Marion, Norma, Joyce, Lilah and Gordon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Cormier (Conrad) and Janet McCormack; her grandchildren, Jessica (Nick), Nicole (Joe), Kimberlee (Josh), Colton (Amy), Jamie (Shayne) and Shane (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Hudson, Aubree, Hayden, Madison, Jayden, Sadie-Rae, Brynlee, Sawyer, Benjamin and Aislee; and her siblings, Mathel, Sharon (Jacob), Ella Mae and Sherman (Lisa). She is also survived by brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Newcastle Funeral Home (386 Mill St S, Newcastle, ON L1B1C6).
