We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Joan Ovenden (Newcastle, Ontario), born in Wellington, Ontario. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Joan Ovenden to show support.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Clarke and Amelia Clarke (Greenfield); her son Mark Bembridge; her former life partner Merl Bembridge; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Charlotte Devita.

She is survived by : her husband John Ovenden; her children, Sheryl Lirette (Wayne) of Sackville, NB and Jeff Bembridge (Val) of Amherst, NS; and her stepsons, Randy Ovenden (Fay), Tim Ovenden (Charlotte), Ken Ovenden Pat Buma (Denise) and John Ovenden (Sandy). She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.
