It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Hogan (Newcastle, Ontario), born in Lingan, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Thomas and Mary Margaret MacGillivray (Young); and her siblings, Daniel, Alex and Catherine.

She is survived by : her children, Jerry (Thelma), New Waterford, Wendy Edelenbos (Glenn), Prime Brook, Cindy MacKinnon (Junior) of Neil's Harbour and Christine Williamson (Troy); her grandchildren, Christopher, Crystal, Brittany, Nathan and Owen; and her great grandchildren, Andie, Amelia and Ryder. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

“Mary was such an inspiration to all!!! In spite of her illnesses she was ALWAYS so pleasant, undemanding and her sense of humor was second to none!!! She was polite and grateful for every little thing. It is with heavy heart that I say farewell. She was loved by all. Kim Jobe PSA”
