It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Elizabeth Renee Rankin (Newcastle, Ontario), who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Art Rankin; her children, Carol (Roly), Gary (Rita) and Bill (Lori); her grandchildren, Kayli, Brittany, Ashley (Andrew), Jessica (Nicole), Sarah (Sam), Andrew (Lacy) and Catherine (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Leah, Mason, Khloe and Scarlett; her brothers, Fred (late Violet) and John (Hazel); and her brother-in-law George (Ruth).
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Newcastle Funeral Home (386 Mill St S, Newcastle, ON L1B1C6).
