He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Olive Henderson; his children, William, Brenda (Nelson), David (Eleanor), Doug (Brenda), Robert and Ronald; his grandchildren, Shawna, David (Kass), Chris (Ella), Jessica (Kevin), Jennifer (Justin), Michelle (Nick), Robyn (Andre) and Scott (Alicia); and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Spencer, Izzabella, Everley, Maximus, Kayden, Julia, Damien, Ryan, Maddison, Wyatt, Sadie, Noah, Charlie, Makar and Henrik.
A masonic service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Newcastle Funeral Home (386 Mill St S, Newcastle, ON L1B1C6). Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
If so desired memorial donations may be made to the R.S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre.
