We announce the death of Andy Shannon of Newmarket, Ontario, who passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 86. Andy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Carmel Shannon; and his parents, Andrew and Mary. He is survived by: his children, Andrew, Caroline Russell (Michael) and Patricia (James Fort); his grandchildren, Danielle, Shannon, Natasha and Alicia; his great grandchildren, Landon, Addison, Hayden, Charlotte, Josephine and Rohan; and his siblings, George, Jim, Anne and Margaret.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Reception Room (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9).
