Bertha Margaret Lucas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bertha Margaret Lucas of Newmarket, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bertha Margaret Lucas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Guy; her children, David (Didi) and Linda (Art); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Stephen), Trevor (Chelsea), Jonathon, Kristen (Dana) and Eric; her great grandchildren, Kiara and Roman; her siblings, Alfred and Eva; and her parents, Amos and Eva.
She is survived by: her sister Betty. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM and on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Memorial donations to Alzheimer's Society of York Region, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
