Betty Bernice Greenwood Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Bernice Greenwood (Newmarket, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Earl Greenwood; her brothers, Robert Hill (Ilene) and Albert Hill; and her parents, Harvey Hill and Lorraine "Jean" Hill.

She is survived by: her children, David (Ann), Chris (Sheila), Teresa (Bob) and Stacey (Roy); her grandchildren, Doug, Alicia, Daniel, Sarah, Ryan, Drew, Steven and Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Brooklyn, Bria, Charlotte, Mya, Carson, Clayton and Austin.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Playter Chapel (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St John Cemetery (250 Old Main St, Newmarket, ON L3Y6C7). A reception will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Reception Room (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9).
