We announce the death of Brenda Dorothy Scott (Greig) Brooks (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 72. Brenda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her sons, Adam (Andrea) and Keith (Lisa); her grandchildren, Carl (Michelle), Alexis, Owen, Sophie and Claire; her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Harper; and her siblings, Sandra (late Patrick), Linda (Albert) and Bryan (Marissa). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (524 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2P3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Margaret Bahen Hospice.
