Ron Langer wrote a sympathy message

“Brian was a great mentor, leader and teacher to many opseu staff and activists. He was a master strategist who had a quiet unflappable demeanor. His intelligence, wit and warmth affected all who knew him. Brian was totally involved with life and his interests right to the end and he never lost that wicked sense of humor. I miss him already but he will never be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to the family and his many dear friends. Ron langer”
