Charles Anthony Schrier Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Anthony Schrier (Newmarket, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Charles is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charles' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucy Schrier (Blanchard) and Sydney Schrier; his spouse Camille (Gomes); his daughters, Arlette and Jillian; his son-in-law Dan Purdham (Jillian); his grandchildren, Jessica Smith and Spencer Purdham; and his great grandchild Isabella.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie's memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
