He was predeceased by: his parents, William Patterson and Molly McVicker; and his siblings, Margaret, Billy, Joe and Drew.

He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Janis Harrison; his wife Carol Lane; his sons, Neill and Glenn; his siblings, Jean and Clarke; his sister-in-law Kathleen; his grandchild Glenn; his pet Jessie; Janis.

During the past year and a half, as our dad's health worsened during endless pandemic lockdowns and restrictions on long-term care residents, he was blessed to attract a cohort of "angels" whose acts of kindness, large and small, made his life a little easier.
