With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Kerwin (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Rod Kerwin. He is survived by: his wife Erika; his sons, Mike and Mark; his grandchildren, Nyn, Zack, Lila and Gita; his siblings, Steve Kerwin and Judy (late Frank Borgatti); his brother-in-law Wolfgang Stoesser (late Alison); and his nieces and nephews, Beverly, Paul, Riley Kerwin, Adam, Kathryn Borgatti, Nils and Nicole Stoesser.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the charity close to Dave's heart, the Nature Centre Project at Scanlon Creek Conservation Centre. through the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation.

“Condolences to Erika, Michael & Mark and the rest of the family. It was so obvious to us how much David loved you guys. Our fond memories of him include interesting discussions whenever we met. He was always respectful, soft-spoken, humble and very thoughtful. When he learned of Gerry's Buddy Holly hobby, he graciously gave Gerry the first LP that Buddy and the Crickets released.
