David Petley Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of David Petley (Newmarket, Ontario) is shared. David, born on September 1, 1967, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jodi Petley; his significant other Kathy Hutchinson; his children, Michael (Lori) and Samantha; his brothers, Jeff and Andrew Petley; and his parents, Marion Petley and Wayne Petley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (484 Water St, Newmarket, ON L3Y1M5). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church - Newmarket 484 (484 Water St, Newmarket, ON L3Y1M5).
