She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Akerman and Loretta Akerman; and her brother Allan (Debbie). She is survived by: her husband Peter Smyth; her children, Erin Smyth (Caleb) and Lauren Belanger (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Kenzie and Sawyer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
