It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Bruce Slessor (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Slessor and Dwight Slessor; and his sister Carole Burdett (Bill). He is survived by: his close friend Jane; his siblings, Peter (Jane), John (Barb), Ted and Bonnie; his aunt Norma Hicks; his children, Lillian Rose (Adam), Jeremy Daniel (Allison) and Angela Lynn (Jake); his granddaughters, Lila, Jacie, Maggie and Willa; his brother-in-law Brian Spek (Tammy); and his favourite labradoodle Bobbi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and so many great friends.

His contributions to the field of addictions were enormous and he will be greatly missed by the AA community.
