She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Spears; her son Gordon; her nephew Douglas; and her parents, Joseph Briggs and Margaret Briggs.
She is survived by: her daughter Dianne (Terry); her niece Thelma; her great-nephew Douglas; and her nephew Tim (Sharon).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (484 Water St, Newmarket, ON L3Y1M5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roadhouse and Rose (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A reception will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Reception Room (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1M5).
