She was predeceased by : her siblings, Lela Leatherdale, Leonard Beer and Doreen Abel; and her parents, Roy Beer and Sarah Beer.
She is survived by : her husband Mel Talbot; her grandchildren, Tara Middlemiss (Feanno Agard), Kristine Middlemiss (Matthew Baird), Kathleen, Laura Weidmark, Samantha, Brittany, James Talbot, Pascal Blais and Chloe Blais (Ivan Madeira); her great grandchildren, William, Charles, Agnes, Christopher, Vivienne and Cedric; and her stepsiblings, Gloria Hemming and Leroy Beer.
If desired, memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to one of Eileen's favoured charities, Covenant House, a shelter for homeless youth.
