He was predeceased by: his wife Alicia; his parents, Louis Bowles and Marie Bowles; his brothers, Bernard and John Bowles; his grandchild Madison; and his nibling Jean.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Lisa), Mary, Kevin (Debra) and Catherine Phillips (Peter); his grandchildren, Michael, Olivia, Alicia, Julia, Elizabeth, Andrew and Christopher; his nieces and nephews, Mary, Ann, Thom, Kathleen, John, Sarah Catherine, Brendan and Matthew; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Irene, Monika, Meaghan, Joanna, Richard, Derek, Kate, James, Colleen, Joseph, Jeremy, David, Jessica, Bridget, Joey, Jesse and Tyler; his cousin Donna Bowles; and his sister-in-law Lynda Bowles.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions a private funeral will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Church on Tuesday June 8, 2021 at 12 noon followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
