It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Walter Lawson (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Blanca Rosa Lawson; his children, Richard (Subin) and Luisa (Jayme); and his grandchildren, Anahata, Cassidy and Cole.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation, or to the Canadian Cancer Society, specifically directed towards mesothelioma research. Donations are being accepted for: CANADIAN MESOTHELIOMA FOUNDATION (Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation) CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIÉTÉ CANADIENNE DU CANCER (CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER).
