She was predeceased by: her husband David; and her sister Grace (late Arthur). She is survived by: her brother-in-law Geoffrey (late Doreen); her children, Donna (late Peter), Gerald (Wanita), Wayne (Christie) and Stephen (Mary); her grandchildren, Ryan (Karen), Bradley (Sharmila), Gregory (Meagan), Amy (Matthew), Sarah, Karen (Matthias), David Pamela (Emily), Daniel (Elizabeth), Brian and Crystal (Bradley); her great grandchildren, Tessa, Logan, Henry, Emery, Jack, Amelia, Eleanor, Abigail, Sophie, Katelyn, Rylee, Gavin, Makenna, Gabriel, Maria, Emma, William and Elet; her nephew Mark; and her nieces, Linda, Debbie, Carol, Beth and Becky.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Joan's memory to Great Lakes Christian High School, Beamsville, ON 4875 King Street.
