As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stan Nicholls; and her son Gary. She is survived by: her cousins, Anita Herbert and Marion Hauseman; and her nephew Brent (Dana Nicholls).
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Playter Chapel (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). She took quiet joy in and appreciated the times she spent with her Sharon Hope United church community, local neighbours and the Newmarket Seniors group before it was shutdown due to the Covid Pandemic.
