Joan Laura Wilks Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 3, 2023, at the age of 94, Joan Laura Wilks (Newmarket, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Percy; and her parents, Albert Barkway and Mabel Barkway. She is survived by: her husband Fred; her daughters, Marilyn Schwering (Nick), Donna (Mark Sadgrove) and Carol Barrett (John); her grandchildren, Mike (Miranda), Phil, Kim (Allan), Karen, Andrew, Jason (Jill) and Jennifer (Dave); her great grandchildren, James, Clara, Adaline and Owen; and her brother Ronald Barkway (Carol).
