The memory of Joanne Sandra (Simard) Berghello (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John; her children, Sandra (Peter) and Ryan (Lisa); her grandchildren, Breanne, Julien, Jacob, Samuel, Sadie, Adelyn and Sofia; her siblings, Robert (Eileen), Francine (Michael), Christine (late Larry), Ronnie (Donna) and Donna (Jacques); and her parents, Donat Simard and Anna Simard. She was also cherished by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (524 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2P3). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Parish (17955 Leslie St, Newmarket, ON L3Y9A4). A reception will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (524 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2P3).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joanne may be made to the Stronach Cancer Centre (Regional Cancer Centre) through the Southlake Foundation.
