She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John; her children, Sandra (Peter) and Ryan (Lisa); her grandchildren, Breanne, Julien, Jacob, Samuel, Sadie, Adelyn and Sofia; her siblings, Robert (Eileen), Francine (Michael), Christine (late Larry), Ronnie (Donna) and Donna (Jacques); and her parents, Donat Simard and Anna Simard. She was also cherished by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joanne may be made to the Stronach Cancer Centre (Regional Cancer Centre) through the Southlake Foundation.
