With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Irene Glennie (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund and Margit of Fay. She is survived by: her sisters, Eva Bird and Hilda Rolph (Brian); her children, Judy (Brad Coates) and Les (Christine Barker); her close friend Doug; her grandchildren, Carson Hunt (Courtney), Chris Coates (Jessica), Alexandra Glennie and Katie Coates; and her great grandchild Dawson Hunt. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

The students and colleagues who continued to reach out long after her retirement speak to her profound contributions to the nursing profession.
