It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kevin Douglas Crann (Newmarket, Ontario), born in Bell Island, Newfoundland, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandson Logan; his siblings, Rosalind and John; his siblings-in-law, Caron (Ellis) and Betty; his aunt Katie; and his brother-in-law Isaac Crann.

He is survived by : his spouse Ivy Crann; his children, Jeanette (Kevin Kidd) and Doug (Marianne Crann); his grandchildren, Amie, Dylan, Nicholas, Marissa, Amanda, Alycia, Taylor, Erin and Sean; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Owen, Amelia and Logan; his siblings, Byron, Ike (Aggie) and Wayne (Rose); and his siblings-in-law, Patsy (late Cyril), Debbie (Bob) and Ollie (Tony).

“Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss of Uncle Kevin. I know he wasn’t my uncle by family, but spending so much time at the Crann home in my youth with Jenn and Doug, I always thought of him simply as Uncle Kevin. He was one of the kindest yet toughest men I’ve ever known, and had such a big heart, especially where his family was concerned.
