She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Horton; and her parents, Warren Hennessey and Jeanette Hennessey. She is survived by: her son Matthew Horton; her siblings, Don Hennessey (Susan) and Sharon Hennessey; her nieces, Catherine and Serena; and her nephew Jackson.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, a cause Lorraine supported, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
