He was predeceased by : his sibling Primo; and his parents, Guglielmo and Gemma. He is survived by : his wife Antonietta "Ann" Nasato; his children, Elmo Nasato (Linda) and Carmina Bradbury (Andrew); his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Grace, Anne, Sophie and Thomas; and his siblings, Maria, Rosa, Giovanna, Giovanni, Teresa and Rino.

“Ann and family We are so sorry to hear of Luigi passing. We did not know where the service or viewing was and very sorry we did not attend. Luigi was a wonderful, happy man and we loved talking to him when we met on the street. He will really be missed on this street and we will miss our morning waves as he drove off down the street Pat and Don Livingston and Family”
