She is survived by: her husband Walter Koopmans; her children, Frances Berends (Bert), Frank, John (late Michelle), Elsie Bulloch (Allan) and Leonard (Melanie); her grandchildren, Melanie (Adrian), Luke (Taylor), Mikayla, Morgan (Cam), Allyson, Rebecca, Matthew (Melissa), Amanda (Matthew), Ashley, Mason (Sarah), Lia (Nate) and Ava; and her great grandchildren, Payton, Gabrielle, Dante, Darien and Noah. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home (30 Simcoe Rd, Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z2A9). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Bethel Community Christian Reformed Church (333 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2N6).
