She was predeceased by: her husband William Smith (Bill); her parents, Manley Ridsdale and Lottie Ridsdale; her siblings, Evelyn Trotter, Donna Bannister and Barrie Ridsdale; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis, Elmer and Beth.
She is survived by: her children, Alison Wood (Bob) and Todd Smith (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Adam, Ryan, Cayden and Addison.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Newmarket Cemetery (112 Main St N, Newmarket, ON L3Y4A1).
