It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matija Cadonic (Newmarket, Ontario), who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Franc Čadonič [Ivičin] and Mary; and his siblings, Peter, Lojze, Franc and Slavica.

He is survived by: his sons, Marjan (Irene) and Marko (Geraldine); his grandchildren, Karl (Catherine), Ivan (Britney), Peter, Rudi, Ava and Danica; and his sibling Ane. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Due to the current restrictions, visitation is a scheduled event with limited capacity.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Society in honour of Matija.
