Though Melanie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melanie leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Frida Gardner; her brother Barry Gardner; her husband Gary Goodman; her children, Penny Maalihan (Pesha) and Aviva Goodman; and her grandson Elijah Maalihan.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the City of David Messianic Synagogue (7775 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J1E9).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to causes close to her heart: Jewish Voice Ministries International (designate to Outreach), Covenant House Toronto, and the Sunnybrook Cancer Centre.
