We are sad to announce that, on May 11, 2021, at the age of 81, Merelyn Helen Dowling (Newmarket, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Sr.; and her parents, Clara and Lawrence. She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Theresa) of Blenheim and Teresa (Joe) of Newmarket; and her grandchildren, Tom, Connie and Kevin.

Due to the Covid -19 Pandemic a private family visitation and funeral mass will be held with interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery located at 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill.

“Merelyn was a very dear Friend of mine so very sorry to hear of her passing. I met Merelyn 19 years ago in Oshawa as I was grieving from a loss of my husband and needed a friend. Merelyn was always understanding, caring & non judgemental of others. We continued our friendship even after her moving to Newmarket for so many years we contacted each other every week. I will always remember our many dances, dinners & trips. Our Trans Atlantic Cruse, Mexico, Dominica & our last trip to Cuba in”
