Michael Barretto, born on September 27, 1950, passed away on October 10, 2026. Michael leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lourdes Barretto; his parents, Nicolau Barretto and Maria Ponciana Barretto; his son Michael; and his siblings, Santano (Mary), C. R. (Julie), Dominic, Pobre (Julie), Laura (Ali), JoJo (Loysi) and Josie. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (524 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y2P3). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Parish (17955 Leslie St, Newmarket, ON L3Y9A4). In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations made in Michael's name to the Palliative Care Unit of Southlake Health.
