He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Carlen Longhurst; his sons, Neville (Kim) and Bruce; his grandchildren, Kyle (Victoria) and Ryan (Lorraine); his siblings, Harold (late Judy), Linda and Larry; and his parents, Thomas Longhurst and Audrey Longhurst.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Mount Albert Cemetery (19675 Centre St, Mount Albert, ON L0G1M0). A reception was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newmarket Legion (707 Srigley St, Newmarket, ON L3Y1X4).
