Nanna Veremenko Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2026, at the age of 98, Nanna Veremenko of Newmarket, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Nanna's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Nanna's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Mykola N. Veremenko; her parents, Mykola Bilousova and Antonina Bilousova; and her grandmother Mykolayiv. She is survived by: her child Iryna Shapoval; and her grandchild Andriy Shapoval.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9).
