She is survived by: her children, Jacob Hovius (Cathy), Jeannette Radder (Andrew), Sidney Hovius (Elizabeth) and Robert Hovius (Michele); and her grandchildren, Danielle, Daryl (Mel), Michael (Lissette), Kristina, Graham (Melissa), Evan (Rebecca), Warren (Megan), Darin (Kaily), Dustin (Cara), Nicole (Dusty), Jamie (Lyneia), Melissa (Brad), Joshua (Jenn), Jailynn, Colton, Carmen, Isabel, Noah, Aidan, Kailynn, Preston, Bronson, William, Emma, Eve, Vada, Jove, Jordyn, Ainsley, Jack, Hayden, Emmett, Bobby, Bruce, Amelia and Austin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holland Marsh Christian Reformed Church (18935 Dufferin St, Newmarket, ON L3Y4V9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In Ninka's memory, donations may be made to King Christian School.
