It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rick Koury (Newmarket, Ontario), born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Koury and Mary Koury; his uncles, William (Sophie), Nick (Alba) and Henry; and his nephew Harley.

He is survived by: his partner Lynn; his partner's child Ryan; his children, Erin (Shawn) and John (Fatema); the mother of his children Joan; and his brothers, Larry (Murielle) and Bob (Dace).
