He was predeceased by: his daughter Susan; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Orr (Megan Wong) and Dallas McAlpine (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Payton, Kali McAlpine and Joel Wong-Orr; his sister Inge; and his parents, Robert Schneider and Gertrude Schneider.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Orr (Steve), Gary and Linda; his brother Robbie; and his wife Mary. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family.
